Taking the stress out of going away

Being parents ourselves, we understand the stresses of going away with young children. We have therefore put in place a number of facilities and services to enable parents to have a real break and truly enjoy their time away.

Most of our rooms are large enough to fit additional travel cots and Z-beds. The Heselwood Room is particularly well set up for families. Children can sleep in the sitting room part which has interconnecting doors to the main bedroom area. Both the Heselwood Room and Cuckmere have baths, as well as showers in the en-suite.

Oh, for a lie-in!

We offer a unique family service to enable parents to get the maximum out of their stay. For an additional £60 per family per night we provide:

This means you can enjoy both a night out and a lie-in the following morning (with breakfast in bed if you wish) whilst your children are well cared for by experienced parents.

Fully equipped

We can provide all the equipment you need for a short break away with children. We have travel cots, Z-beds and bedding, as well as changing mats, sterilisers, bottle warmers, baby towels, bath seats and baby monitors. We also provide toddler cups and cutlery, although not baby bottles for health and safety reasons.

Toys and books are available for children to use in the conservatory and our DVD library includes a number of children's DVDs which you can use in the rooms.

For the more adventurous we also have bicycles with baby seats available to borrow. These can be used on one of the numerous routes in the area, including the Cuckoo Trail (see ' Plan your stay, Families').
