Taking the stress out of going away

Being parents ourselves, we understand the stresses of going away with young children. We have therefore put in place a number of facilities and services to enable parents to have a real break and truly enjoy their time away.

Two of our rooms are large enough to fit additional travel cots and Z-beds. The Heselwood Suite is particularly well set up for families. Children can sleep in the sitting room part which has interconnecting doors to the main bedroom area. Both the Heselwood Suite and Cuckmere Room have baths, as well as showers in the en-suite.

Babysitting

We offer an evening babysitting service between 7.30pm and midnight. This is a baby listening service done using monitors in the room. It is charged at £9 per hour. If you require this service please let us know when booking.

Fully equipped

We can provide all the equipment you need for a short break away with children. We have travel cots, Z-beds and bedding, as well as changing mats, sterilisers, bottle warmers, baby towels, bath seats and baby monitors. We also provide toddler cups and cutlery, although not baby bottles for health and safety reasons. A full list of equipment is provided on booking.


A microwave and fridge are available for parents to use and they are welcome to feed their children in the conservatory. For parents staying in there are takeaway and delivery options for an evening meal. On booking we provide information about local places to eat and options for food.
